Among Us 3D Launching Soon: Enjoy Classic Multiplayer Without VR

In 2022, Innersloth took the gaming world by storm with their release of a virtual reality version of Among Us, which received widespread acclaim. Now, the studio is pushing boundaries even further with Among Us 3D, a new iteration that transforms the beloved game into a fully immersive first-person experience, accessible without a VR headset.

Players will enjoy the familiar core mechanics of Among Us, but with a fresh perspective tailored for traditional gaming setups. A teaser trailer has been released, offering a sneak peek at how tasks, meetings, and sabotage will look and feel from the first-person viewpoint of your character. Fans eager to dive into this new mode will have the opportunity to do so during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival, where a free demo of Among Us 3D will be available for testing.

Although an official release date for Among Us 3D has not been set, the game is slated to launch first on PC. It will be optimized for keyboard and mouse controls, featuring an updated interface that prioritizes accessibility. Additionally, cross-play functionality will enable players of Among Us 3D to connect and play with those on Among Us VR, though the original Among Us game will remain a separate entity.

To enhance the player experience even further, Innersloth is introducing a new in-game currency called Stardust in the coming months. This currency will offer players more ways to customize their avatars and contribute to the continuous development and evolution of the game.
