Age of Empires Mobile Unveils New Mercenaries Troop System

The beloved strategy game series, *Age of Empires Mobile*, is expanding its horizons with the introduction of the new Mercenaries System, offering players enhanced control and formidable strength in their quest to build vast empires. At Level 26, players gain access to the Mercenary Camp, where they can hire and enlist powerful mercenary units, and subsequently unlock and enhance technologies that are unique to these elite fighters.

Each mercenary group brings its own set of specialized abilities to the battlefield:

Byzantine Cataphract:

• Boosts the damage of all hero skills in the army by [2%].
• After troops deal skill damage, reduces all damage received by our troops by [3.5%] for [3] seconds.

Swiss Pikeman:

• Enhances the chance of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills across all troops by [1%].
• Decreases all damage taken by troops by [2%].

Korean Archer:

• Increases the likelihood of triggering the hero’s pursuit/active skills for all troops by [1%].
• Reduces all damage received by troops by [2%].

Players can claim their first Mercenaries at no cost by participating in a special event that coincides with the launch of this system.

The addition of the Mercenaries System to *Age of Empires Mobile* opens up exciting "What if" scenarios, allowing players to experiment with unique combinations of legendary heroes and different mercenary classes.
