Alexa Plus Now Available on Select Echo Show Devices

Amazon has introduced Alexa+, a significant upgrade to its standard Alexa voice assistant, now available in Early Access. Powered by generative AI, Alexa+ promises a more natural conversational flow, enhanced personalization, and increased efficiency in helping users accomplish tasks. Currently, Alexa+ is in Early Access, exclusively available on select Echo Show devices: the Echo Show 8, 10, 15, and 21. Unfortunately, not all devices will support Alexa+ immediately. Older generation Echo devices, including the Echo Dot 1st Gen, Echo 1st Gen, Echo Plus 1st Gen, Amazon Tap, Echo Show 1st Gen, Echo Show 2nd Gen, and Echo Spot 1st Gen, will continue to use the original Alexa. However, Amazon has announced plans to expand Alexa+ compatibility to more devices, such as Fire TV and Fire tablets, and through Alexa.com in the near future.
