Assassin’s Creed Shadows has unveiled its exciting year 1 post-launch roadmap, promising a wealth of new content and story developments for players. Launched over a month ago, the game continues to evolve with Ubisoft's commitment to enriching the player experience through regular updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their plans on Twitter (X), detailing a robust roadmap that fans are eagerly anticipating.

Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap

Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) is set to receive multiple free content updates known as Story Drops. These additions will not only expand the game's narrative but also introduce new player abilities, allies, and world activities. Ubisoft has promised that these free quests will delve deeper into the backstories of beloved characters, enhancing the overall storyline and gameplay experience.

In addition to the free updates, fans should mark their calendars for the upcoming DLC expansion, The Claws of Awaji. Scheduled for release later this year, this expansion will transport players to the new region of Awaji Island. Following the base game's epilogue, players can explore this fresh territory, encounter new enemies, and unlock new abilities for both protagonists. An exclusive new weapon for Naoe will also be available, adding to the excitement.
