This guide details how to initiate and complete the bonus quest, "The Lion's Crest," available to those who pre-ordered Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This quest rewards players with valuable items.

Starting the Lion's Crest Quest:

Upon completing the tutorial and gaining access to the open world, locate the scribe Gaibl in Troskowitz. He will present you with a riddle and the crafting recipe for Brunswick's polearm. You'll need to gather the necessary materials yourself, then craft the weapon at a blacksmith's forge.

Deciphering the Riddle:

The riddle provided by Gaibl reads:

"Take your leave of crone and maiden, standing tall behind the gates, boldly go towards true midnight, in caverns cold your prize awaits. Pass through the hall of forest kings, hidden deep from hunters’ gaze, standing tall two guards of stone, behind who yearned for treasure lays. Between then stands a mighty rock, a subtle niche yet deeper still, a place to give one’s heart to God, behold my armour gleaming still."

This riddle leads you to Trosky Castle. Exit through the northern gates and head north, entering the forest.

Follow the path, watching for rocky formations on your left. You'll discover a series of crevices leading to a cave containing a chapel. Examine the cross near the rock to find the first piece of Brunswick's armor and two treasure maps.

Locating the Treasure Using the Maps:

• Map 1: Continue west along the road to a crossroads. Head north into the woods to find a wolf den. The armor is in a bag near the trees above the den.

• Map 2: Travel to the outpost at Vidlak Pond. Behind the fisherman's house, locate a large rock formation along the cliffs. A chest containing armor is near a cross on the rocks.

• Map 3: Fast travel to Zhelejov. Leave the tavern and cross two bridges toward Tachov. After the second bridge, take a small path leading to the river and forest. Follow this path to a hill; examine the large tree at the top to find bones and a bag containing armor.

• Map 4: Travel to the hill between the Nomads’ Camp and Bozhena’s Hut. Locate rocks with a cross on top to find the final piece of Brunswick's armor.
