1. The Dark God's Violin:

This is the first and story-critical Dark Instrument. It's obtained during Chapter 2's side quest triggered by a crew member's request. This leads to a confrontation with the Devil Flag pirates, culminating in a boss battle. Defeating the Devil Flags earns you the Violin and unlocks a 100-enemy brawl to test your new finisher. This also introduces the four Devil Flag Captains: Yakuza, Ronin, Shinobi, and Zeus, initiating the side quest to collect all Dark Instruments.

2. The Dark God's Ocarina:

After the initial brawl, collect 70 Devil Flags by defeating their ships and occupying islands. This unlocks Atali Island, where you'll face multiple enemy waves to reach the treasure chest containing the Ocarina. Defeat Captain Yakuza to claim it.

3. The Dark God's Guitar:

Following Captain Yakuza's defeat, a deceptive lead sends you to another 100-enemy battle. Next, you'll learn Zeus's location: Flame Island.
