Bearwaves has launched a new daily word puzzle called Dave’s Word Game. The team’s earlier releases include Feud, a turn-based strategy game available on mobile and PC. The project is named after its creator, Dave Cordell of the Bearwaves core team, who also designed Feud.
It draws inspiration from both popular games. Each day features a new board that’s identical for all players. The challenge lies in discovering words and choosing the right moment to play them. Every move alters the board, shifting what’s possible in future turns. Clearing letters too soon can block future chances.
The design encourages repeated plays, since you can revisit the same daily board as often as you like. Some players aim for the highest possible score to top the daily leaderboard, while others focus on steady progress toward the monthly top spot.
Leaderboards are central to Dave’s Word Game. The game also supports asynchronous online multiplayer, letting players compete without needing to be online simultaneously. See the gameplay in action below.
Are you a word enthusiast? --------------------Rather than making one guess and moving on, Dave’s Word Game lets you continuously reshape the board to maximize scoring opportunities.
It turns vocabulary, strategic thinking, and board awareness into a daily habit that begs for just one more try. If you love testing your word skills and outsmarting friends, you’ll likely enjoy this game.
The game is free to play, offering a daily puzzle with zero ads. You can find it on the Google Play Store.
