December 2025 marks two decades of Like a Dragon! RGG Studio is celebrating in style with a fan-voting project. Choose from over 100 iconic in-game items—from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, and even Kiryu's dragon mask—to be made into real merchandise. The winning item, as announced on the RGG voting website, is guaranteed to become a reality within the next two years.

Voting runs from February 8th to March 21st, 2025, with one vote allowed per day. Following the voting period, a design questionnaire will determine the final look of the winning item.

Could More Yakuza Remakes Be on the Horizon for the 20th Anniversary?

RGG Studio first hinted at the 20th-anniversary celebrations in a December 8th, 2024, Twitter (X) post during their 19th anniversary. Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama expressed gratitude to fans and outlined plans for various events and announcements leading up to the milestone, including this merchandise voting project.

Kicking off the celebrations, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii launches February 20th, 2025. While further details on other anniversary events and games remain unannounced, the studio’s 10th-anniversary celebrations, which included the announcement of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami remakes, offer a tantalizing glimpse of what might be in store. RGG Studio revealed the PC requirements for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 10th, 2025 via Twitter (X). An Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent is recommended, making the game accessible to most PC gamers. With releases also planned for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, PC requirements are easily attainable. The game is also Steam Deck Verified.
