EA confirmed the release window of the new Battlefield

Electronic Arts has unveiled the projected launch timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a release before April 2026.

Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's past release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. EA, however, remains tight-lipped on precise release dates.

Development is underway across four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, allowing selected players to experience core gameplay elements and provide valuable feedback for pre-release optimization.

This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS installment is unlikely in the near future, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
