Careful, Simmers! Robin Banks, the infamous Burglar, is back in The Sims 4!
A familiar face to veteran Sims players, Robin Banks returns in the latest update for The Sims 4, available now on PC and consoles. Prepare to safeguard your Sims' valuables! She operates under the cover of night, typically targeting homes while everyone sleeps. However, don't be lulled into a false sense of security; she's known to attempt heists even when Sims are awake. Stay vigilant!
To deter this notorious thief, equip your home with a burglar alarm. Triggering the alarm guarantees a swift police response, leading to Robin's arrest and the recovery of your stolen goods. Alternatively, you can always call the police yourself—but act fast! Or, if you prefer a more direct approach… well, vigilante justice is always an option.
The Sims team expressed their excitement about bringing the Burglar back, stating, "We are so thrilled to finally bring the Burglar back into The Sims universe... Robin Banks isn’t just ready to rob your Sims’ houses — she’s here to steal your hearts too! What better way to celebrate The Sims 25th Birthday than with this nostalgic yet fresh addition? We hope you’re as excited as we are to see what kind of chaos Robin Banks will bring to your households."
Despite being a decade old—and with the franchise celebrating its 25th anniversary—The Sims 4 continues to thrive. Last year alone, it attracted over 15 million new players. EA's Q2 earnings report revealed that the premium version took four years to reach 20 million unique players. However, its 2022 transition to free-to-play resulted in a staggering 31 million new players immediately, reaching a total of 85 million players by May 2024. And for those wondering, there are currently no plans for The Sims 5.
