Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Drops a Video Showing Three New Classes

Netmarble has unveiled an exciting new trailer for their upcoming RPG, *Game of Thrones: Kingsroad*, giving fans a closer look at the three distinct classes that will shape the brutal combat within the world of Westeros. As the launch approaches, Netmarble ensures players are well-informed about what to expect from this action-adventure experience.

What Are the Three New Classes Shown in the Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Video?

The trailer introduces three unique playable classes, each drawing inspiration from the iconic warriors of the *Game of Thrones* series: the Knight, the Sellsword, and the Assassin. The video vividly showcases these classes in action, highlighting their unique combat styles:

  • Knight: Masters of refined swordplay, Knights slice through enemies with precision and skill, embodying the noble art of combat.
  • Sellsword: Wielding massive two-handed axes, Sellswords rely on sheer brute force to dominate the battlefield, bringing raw power to every encounter.
  • Assassin: With the deadly finesse of the Faceless Men, Assassins strike swiftly and vanish just as quickly, making them lethal in the shadows.

When Is the Game Launching?

*Game of Thrones: Kingsroad* is slated for release in June 2025, available on both PC and mobile platforms. The game introduces a fresh narrative where you assume the role of an unexpected heir to House Tyre, a minor noble house in the North, at a time when the realm teeters on the edge of further conflict.

Set during the final stages of the war for the Iron Throne, the game captures a pivotal moment in Westeros' history. Stannis Baratheon is in his last desperate bid for power, the North is still reeling from the Red Wedding's horrors, and the Great Houses are plotting their next moves.

A playable demo was released during the Steam Next Fest from February 24th to March 3rd, offering players a taste of what's to come. While a specific release date is yet to be confirmed, more details are expected soon. Keep an eye on the official site for the latest updates.
