If you're a Genshin Impact enthusiast playing on Android, you'll be thrilled to know that controller support is finally on its way. After a long wait, especially since iOS users enjoyed this feature since 2021, the update is scheduled to roll out with Version 5.5.
Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, as this is when you'll be able to enhance your Genshin Impact experience by connecting your Android device to a controller. This update will officially support four controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind that all these controllers require Bluetooth connectivity.
Alongside controller support, Version 5.5 brings a suite of quality-of-life enhancements. One notable feature is the cross-scene quest tracking, allowing you to seamlessly track quests across different areas. Simply open the map and teleport directly to your desired destination.
New players will benefit from updated boss guides, which will offer better insights into enemy mechanics. Additionally, optimizations are planned for the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system. For a comprehensive rundown of these updates, tune into the Special Program Announcement scheduled for March 14th.
