Genshin Impact heats up with new volcano area added in update 5.5

Genshin Impact is heating things up with its upcoming 5.5 update, "Day of the Flame's Return," arriving March 26th. This update introduces the massive Great Volcano of Tollan and its hidden, ancient city, the Sacred City of Tollan—a Dragonborn-built structure ripe for exploration and the unveiling of the Flamelord's Blessing.

But the fiery additions don't stop there! The final Natlan tribe, the Tribe of Plenty, makes its debut alongside a new Saurian companion, the powerful Tatankasaurus, capable of shattering colossal rocks.

New Characters and More

Navigating the perilous volcano won't be a solo endeavor. Two new characters join the roster: Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user dealing massive Electro damage, and Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm wielder from Natlan's six heroes, boosting attack damage while healing allies.

The update also includes a new seasonal event, "Tournament of Glory in Bloom," along with updated Event Wishes and more.
