Genshin Impact Officially Reveals Yumemizuki Mizuki for Version 5.4

Genshin Impact's Version 5.4: A Closer Look at Yumemizuki Mizuki and a Smaller Update

Version 5.4 of Genshin Impact introduces Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo Catalyst character hailing from Inazuma. Mizuki's gameplay is comparable to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities, making her a valuable asset, particularly in Taser teams. Her introduction follows extensive rumors and leaks, ultimately confirming her status as a Standard Banner character after Version 5.4.

Mizuki's character design reveals a tapir yokai, a psychologist, and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her established friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests a prominent role in Version 5.4's Inazuma-based Flagship Event, centered around yokai. A dedicated Story Quest will also accompany her release.

Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:

  • Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
  • Rarity: 5-Star
  • Vision: Anemo
  • Weapon: Catalyst
  • Constellation: Tapirus Somniator

Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Players focused on character collection should prioritize obtaining Mizuki's Signature Weapon, as she transitions to the Standard Banner post-5.4.

Unlike the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 offers a more streamlined experience. It includes only one new character, one Story Quest, and no new Artifact Domain or map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem reward pool is smaller than usual. Players are advised to conserve their resources, particularly Lantern Rite rewards, to prepare for obtaining highly sought-after characters like Furina or Wriothesley in Version 5.4, unless Version 5.3's Chronicled Banner holds a particularly appealing character.
