GTA 5: How to Get Changed Into a Smart Outfit

In Grand Theft Auto 5, after assisting with the Jay Norris assassination, players must change into formal attire before proceeding with Lester's next mission. This guide explains how to acquire suitable clothing.

The following mission involves reconnaissance at a high-end jewelry store; Michael needs appropriate clothing to avoid suspicion.

Finding a Smart Outfit

To change clothes, return to Michael's house (marked as a white house icon on the map). Ascend the stairs to the second floor, enter the bedroom, and access the closet. Select the clothing change option (top-left corner of the screen). Choose the "Suits" category (second from the top).

For the easiest solution, select "Full Suits" and choose the Slate, Gray, or Topaz suit. Any of these will suffice to initiate the next mission.

Alternative: High-End Clothing Stores

Alternatively, players can purchase suits at Ponsonbys. There are three Ponsonbys locations (see map). However, note that not all suits from Ponsonbys are considered "smart" enough for the mission. To avoid unnecessary expense, using a suit already in Michael's wardrobe is recommended.
