The workplace superhero comedy game Dispatch has just appeared on the Nintendo eShop for Switch and Switch 2, and pre-orders are now open.
Developer AdHoc Studio hasn't made an official announcement yet, but the Nintendo eShop listing is live in Australia, allowing Switch owners to secure their copy. A release date is also listed: January 29, 2026.
Switch 2 owners will have access to a free upgrade pack, providing a version with enhanced resolution and improved frame rates. There's currently no indication of an Xbox release, but we will update this article once AdHoc Studio makes a formal announcement.
Dispatch initially launched for PC and PlayStation 5 in October, quickly garnering a devoted fanbase with its quirky, episodic storytelling. It sold an impressive 2 million copies in its first month—a milestone the team had projected would take two years to reach.
The game boasts a talented voice cast including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, Jeffrey Wright, and Matthew Mercer. Its development team features key talent from Telltale Games' acclaimed era, known for their work on The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and Tales from the Borderlands.
In its review, IGN praised Dispatch as a "sharp-witted workplace comedy that charms with its smart dialogue choices, great writing, and lovably aggravating cast," awarding it a superb 9/10.
