The much-anticipated release of Infinity Nikki version 1.5 by developer Infold Games came with high expectations, which unfortunately were not met. In a post on Twitter (X) dated May 18, Infold Games acknowledged the "unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content" and offered compensation to players.

Version 1.5 introduced numerous technical issues and bugs across various platforms, some of which made the game unplayable. Additionally, the update included sudden changes to the game's systems, such as increasing the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11 pieces. This change raised the number of pulls needed to complete an outfit to 220, making it more costly and time-consuming for players to acquire full sets.

A new dye system was also introduced, which players found confusing and cumbersome due to the need to unlock color palettes for each clothing item. The update also saw the removal of the Threads of Reunion storyline, as the associated outfit is still under development. Infold Games admitted, "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion."

In response to player feedback, Infold Games announced, "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule changes, all stylists will receive Diamond 120 and Energy Crystal 1 every day from June 5 to June 12, totaling Diamond 960 and Energy Crystal 8."

Despite the compensation, the studio has yet to reveal detailed plans to address these issues. Fans have voiced their concerns in the comments, highlighting issues such as the pity change, the problematic dye system, and other bugs.

Delayed Version 1.6

Due to the challenges faced with version 1.5, the developers have decided to extend this version to allow more time to resolve the issues. Consequently, version 1.6 has been delayed until June 12, 2025, impacting the release and scheduling of in-game events.

The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20, will now be introduced in version 1.6. Infold Games stated, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this delay.

More Unlisted Adjustments On The Way

Infold Games is actively working on addressing the broader issues introduced by version 1.5. "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates," they explained.

To enhance communication with the player base, Infold Games is launching a new initiative called the Miraland Round Table. This platform allows players to directly share their concerns and feedback with the developers. Players can participate by emailing the game's official email account with "Table Advisor" in the subject line or through the Customer Service option in-game.

Infold Games expressed, "We feel guilt over delayed promises, yet gratitude for your unwavering support." They are committed to making Infinity Nikki "shine brighter than ever." The game is available on PlayStation 5, iOS, Android, and PC. Stay updated with the latest news by checking out our article below!
