Get ready to ascend to the title of Sorcerer Supreme with Marvel Snap's new limited-time mode, Sanctum Showdown, now live and available until March 11th. This exciting event introduces a fresh competitive twist with unique snapping mechanics and a special win condition, transforming the way you play.
In Sanctum Showdown, the race is on to reach 16 points first, diverging from the traditional six-turn format. The key to victory lies in the new Sanctum location, which awards the highest points each turn. But that's not all—snapping has a new twist too. From turn three, you can snap once per turn, boosting the Sanctum's value by one point and keeping the game's momentum ever-changing.
Each match in Sanctum Showdown costs one Scroll to enter, but a win replenishes your Scroll, keeping the excitement alive. You begin with 12 Scrolls and gain two more every eight hours. Should you run out, additional Scrolls are available for 40 Gold. Regardless of the match's outcome, you'll progress in your Sorcerer Rank and earn Charms. These Charms can be exchanged in the Sanctum Shop for exclusive cosmetics or new cards.
Thinking of leveraging Captain Marvel or Dracula? Think again! Certain cards and locations are banned to maintain fairness, and abilities that affect final outcomes won't work here. Cards like Debrii are also out to prevent dominant strategies. Craft your ideal deck for this challenge with insights from our Marvel Snap tier list!
If you're eyeing cards like Laufey, Gorgon, and Uncle Ben, Sanctum Showdown is your exclusive chance to snag them before they appear in the Token Shop on March 13th. Don't miss out on Portal Pulls, which offer a shot at unlocking these cards and up to four Series 4 or 5 cards for free.
Mark your calendar—Sanctum Showdown in Marvel Snap ends on March 11th. For more details, be sure to check out the official website.
