Marvel Snap Adds New Fantastic Four Modes

Second Dinner Studios has launched an exciting new season for Marvel Snap, taking players on a cosmic adventure with Marvel's First Family. The Fantastic Four-themed update arrives just in time to celebrate The Fantastic Four: First Steps movie release.

Comic-Inspired Content Arrives

While tying into the upcoming film, this season primarily draws inspiration from the beloved comic book series. All core Fantastic Four members make their appearance, introducing fresh gameplay mechanics and card abilities.

New Characters and Abilities

Leading the charge is Reed Richards with his new Mister Fantastic First Steps card. This powerful addition lets players modify a card each turn, either reducing its cost by 1 or boosting its power by 2. The season also introduces the Fantasticar, a Series 4 Super Premium reward that enhances end-of-turn cards by 2 power when activated.

Series 5 brings H.E.R.B.I.E., a dynamic card that cycles through different abilities each turn, from energy boosts to power enhancements and even rock generation. Human Torch delivers consistent end-of-turn power increases plus a potential one-time doubling effect when the board fills up. The Thing grows stronger each turn while eliminating weaker enemy cards on full boards. Invisible Woman supercharges gameplay by doubling end-of-turn abilities when activated.

Limited-Time Additions and Events

Mole Man and Mad Thinker join the roster through special events. Mole Man disrupts gameplay by adding rocks to your hand while removing cards from your deck, while Mad Thinker gains steady power boosts for maintaining a full hand.

Mister Fantastic First Steps, Fantasticar, and H.E.R.B.I.E. are currently available. The character release schedule continues with:

• Kid Omega and Cobra (July 16)
• The Thing (July 22)

Players can enjoy two limited-time events:

• High Voltage (July 17-21) - Returns with exclusive cosmetic rewards
• Grand Arena (July 24-August 7) - New competitive format featuring prebuilt decks of iconic characters
