MicroMacro: Downtown Detective is a new digital release from Soft Boiled Games for Android. It’s an adaptation of the award-winning ‘MicroMacro: Crime City’ board game series, transforming the cooperative tabletop experience into a single-player adventure.

MicroMacro: Downtown Detective blends classic wimmelbilder—those intricately detailed pictures bustling with people, animals, and objects—with detective storytelling. This digital edition introduces a fresh city map and a new collection of mysteries.

Don't mistake it for a standard hidden object game, however. Your task is to piece together robberies, murders, and various shady dealings across a sprawling cartoon metropolis.

The clever twist is that the city map remains static, but your perspective shifts. Characters reappear during different moments in time, allowing you to reconstruct their day until the truth snaps into place.

You'll investigate everything from celebrity scandals, like the mysterious death of rockstar Axl Otl, to smaller yet chaotic crimes such as burglary sprees.
