This tier list showcases the best Pals capturable in Palworld:
Tier | Pals |

S | Jetragon, Bellanoir Libero, Paladius, Necromus |
A | Anubis, Shadowbeak |
B | Jormuntide Ignis, Frostallion |
C | Lyleen Noct, Blazamut Ryu |
Jetragon reigns supreme, arguably the best Pal in Palworld. This versatile dragon excels as a mount and boasts devastating abilities like Fire Ball and Beam Comet, making it a formidable combatant. Find this Level 60 powerhouse on the Beach of Everlasting Summer. Remember to bring Ice-element Pals and boost your Heat Resistance to Level 2.
Beyond Jetragon, Bellanoir Libero is a strong contender. This Dark-element Pal, while not a mount, is a fearsome fighter. Its Siren of the Void passive ability significantly enhances its Dark and Ice abilities, proving incredibly useful against many dragon Pals. However, summoning it via the Summoning Altar is no easy feat.
Paladius and Necromus, twin Pal bosses, are the fastest ground mounts available. Paladius (Neutral element) excels against dragons, while Necromus (Dark element) shines against other enemies. Both deliver immense damage but are less effective as base workers, making them ideal combat companions.

Anubis, obtainable relatively early, is a top-tier worker and fighter. While not mountable, its impressive attack power and Handiwork Level 4 make it a base asset. Breed a Penking and Bushi to acquire this valuable Pal.
Shadowbeak, found only in No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary (accessible via flying or swimming mounts), is a potential Dark-element powerhouse thanks to its Modified DNA. While usable as a mount, its combat prowess truly shines. It's less ideal for base work.
Jormuntide Ignis, found in No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary, is another exceptional combat Pal. Its Stormbringer Lava Dragon passive ability boosts both the rider and itself. Powerful Fire, Electric, and Dragon-type moves make it a formidable foe. While its Kindling Level 4 allows for cooking or ore refining, combat is its true calling.
Frostallion, an Ice-type Pal, is a versatile combatant, mount, and base worker (Level 50). Defeat its world boss form in the east of the Land of Absolute Zero (bring Fire Pals and upgrade Cold Resistance to Level 3).

Lyleen Noct, a Dark-element Pal from a cave in the Land of Absolute Zero, serves best as a healer. Its Goddess of the Tranquil Light passive restores HP and its Ice and Dark moves are effective against many bosses. Its medicine production skills are valuable.
Blazamut Ryu, a Raid Boss summoned via the Summoning Altar (requiring four Blazamut Ryu Slab Fragments from challenging Sakurajima Island Dungeons), is a powerful combatant and base worker (Kindling and Mining Level 4). While mountable, combat or base work are its best uses.
These are the top Pals to acquire in Palworld. Most are endgame encounters, so don't rush to collect them all at once.
