Voltorb (#100): Kanto Region Electric-Type
Voltorb, the Kanto region Electric-type Pokémon, evolves into Electrode using 50 candies. Each catch yields 3 candies and 100 Stardust. Its stats are capped at 1141 CP, with 109 Attack and 111 Defense. Voltorb is weak against Ground-type moves (160% damage) and resists Electric, Flying, and Steel-type moves (63% damage). The optimal moveset is Spark and Discharge, delivering 5.81 DPS and 40.62 TDO. Rainy weather boosts its attack power. A blue shiny variant exists.
Hisuian Voltorb (#100): Kanto Region Electric-Type
Hisuian Voltorb shares the same Pokédex number as Voltorb and also evolves into Hisuian Electrode using 50 candies, rewarding 3 candies and 100 Stardust per catch. Its stats mirror Voltorb's: 1141 CP, 111 Defense, and 109 Attack. However, its type matchups differ slightly. It takes increased damage from Bug, Fire, Ice, and Poison-type moves (160% damage), while resisting Grass, Steel, and Water-type moves (63% damage) and other Electric-type moves (39% damage). The best moveset is Tackle and Thunderbolt, providing 5.39 DPS and 37.60 TDO. Partly cloudy and rainy weather enhance its damage output. Its shiny form features a black body instead of orange.
