Rune Slayer: Mount Acquisition Guide

Dive into the expansive world of Rune Slayer on Roblox—a game that masterfully blends MMORPG elements like quests, crafting, dungeons, and even fishing. But no true MMORPG is complete without mounts, and Rune Slayer delivers! While acquiring a mount isn't overly complex, the game doesn't explicitly guide you through the process. Fear not, this guide will show you the way.

Recommended Steps Before Mounting Your Pet

Before you picture yourself speeding across the Rune Slayer landscape, ensure you meet these prerequisites:

• Reach Level 20: This shouldn't take more than a few hours of questing, job completion, and mob slaying. Having friends to quest with will significantly speed things up.
• Tame a Pet: A quest will guide you through the taming process, but here's the gist:
  • Find a tamable animal (deer, wolf, spider, etc.).
  • Attack it once.
  • Equip and hold the animal's preferred food (apples for deer, raw deer meat for wolves).
  • A heart will appear above its head. If it fully grows, you've tamed it! If it turns black, try again with another animal.

Once you've reached level 20 and tamed a pet, you're ready for the next step.

Completing the Mount Quest

At level 20, Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire will offer a quest. He needs you to deliver a package to the Ashenshire Stable Master.

Accept "Jimmy's Delivery" and head north through Wayshire's northern entrance. Follow the path, climbing the hill into Greatwood Forest. Stick to the main path to avoid tougher mobs. Continue north until you reach Ashenshire (recognizable by the large houses built atop trees).

Find the rope leading upwards and interact with it to climb. The first NPC you encounter will be Madonna the Stable Master. There won't be a quest marker; simply talk to her and select "I have a package for you." After she receives the package, backtrack to Wayshire.

Talk to Jimmy; he'll reward you with a saddle. The saddle won't appear in your inventory—it's automatically equipped.

Mounting Your Pet

Summon your pet (hold "T"), approach it, and select "Mount" (press "E"). Enjoy your high-speed travels! This works with all mountable pets.
