Resembling an extended DualSense controller with an 8-inch 1080p LCD screen, the PS Portal streams PS5 games at up to 60fps. It boasts DualSense features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, using a touchscreen instead of the touchpad. While previously requiring a PS5, a game-changing update now allows streaming directly from PlayStation Now, opening up a library of over 120 games (requires the highest tier PlayStation Plus subscription). This means you can enjoy titles like Ghost of Tsushima, Resident Evil 3 Remake, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales without needing a PS5. While a $18 monthly PlayStation Plus subscription is required, this is significantly less than the upfront cost of a PS5 plus individual game purchases.

Note that home Wi-Fi streaming isn't exclusive to the PS Portal; PS Remote Play on mobile devices offers similar functionality, albeit with a more complex setup and fewer DualSense features.

However, the lack of browser-based Wi-Fi login and Bluetooth audio support are significant drawbacks. Despite these issues, it's currently the best solution for PlayStation Remote Play. If those issues were addressed, it would be a must-have for any PS5 owner who enjoys handheld gaming."
