Gravity Co. has recently unveiled their latest Android game, Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse, a unique blend of deckbuilding, roguelike, and RPG elements. Set in a world 500 years after a devastating war that nearly wiped out humanity, the game places you in the shoes of an explorer venturing out from a bunker into the transformed world of Eustea.
In Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse, your mission is to resurrect civilization from its ruins. As one of the bunker's chosen explorers, you step into a chaotic new world divided into over 100 distinct zones, each with its own unique stories and bizarre historical elements.
Human survivors are scattered across the continent, forming various factions. Some strive for domination, while others focus on mere survival. This setting provides a rich backdrop for your journey through the game.
Every decision you make in Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse carries weight. At various crossroads, you'll choose whether to engage in combat, negotiate, or retreat, each choice leading to different outcomes and branching narratives. This means your gameplay experience will be uniquely different from others.
The game features multiple endings, where your actions could lead to saving a community, destroying one, or even meeting an untimely end with no legacy left behind. The butterfly effect is significant here, with even minor choices potentially leading to dramatic consequences.
Combat in the game is centered around a deckbuilding system, where you can construct your deck from over 300 cards, 200 skills, and numerous pieces of equipment. You have the option to play as a modern soldier equipped with contemporary weapons or as a knight reminiscent of medieval times.
As you explore, you'll document your discoveries in a pictorial log, recording everything from strange creatures and ancient artifacts to preserved books.
Shambles: Sons of Apocalypse is now available for Android users on the Google Play Store, priced at $6.99.
