NetherRealm and WB Games have just dropped the exciting official gameplay trailer for the T-1000, set to join the roster of Mortal Kombat 1 next Tuesday. This character brings a fresh dynamic to the game with his unique ability to morph into liquid metal, allowing him to dodge projectiles in a visually stunning way. Fans of Kabal from previous Mortal Kombat games will find T-1000 particularly appealing, as he incorporates some of Kabal's iconic weapons and moves, despite Kabal himself not being part of the current lineup.

The trailer is rich with nods to the classic film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. A standout moment is the recreation of the memorable scene where T-1000 wags his finger—a gesture famously banned in the NBA for being unsportsmanlike. Additionally, there's a fun interaction where T-1000 inquires about John Connor from Johnny Cage, blending the worlds of Mortal Kombat and Terminator seamlessly.

Alongside T-1000, the trailer also introduces Madam Bo, set to be added to the game simultaneously. T-1000's Fatality showcases his liquid metal prowess as he transforms and replaces his victim, embodying the machine's mission with chilling efficiency.

While no further announcements were made by WB Games, rumors are swirling that this might be the final wave of new content for Mortal Kombat 1. Speculation suggests that an announcement for a new game could be on the horizon, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
