Originally launched in Japan on February 24, 2021, for iOS, Android, and PC, Umamusume: Pretty Derby blends racing simulation with an intriguing narrative. The game features legendary racehorses reincarnated as "Umamusume" or "horse girls," who possess the ears, tails, and athletic prowess of horses, but the appearance of high school girls. At Tokyo's Tracen Academy, these horse girls strive to achieve fame as both racers and idols.

The game's Steam page promises an immersive sports life simulation, featuring an in-depth training system and top-tier 3D graphics. Players can scout over 20 different Uma Musumes through a gacha system, train them, and compete in races and performances.
