Civ VI update completes Android version with all content

Sid Meier's Civilization VI for Android is receiving a major content update that finally aligns it with other platforms. On June 12th, the mobile version will gain all previously missing units, features, and gameplay refinements.

New Units, Maps, Modes and Significant Improvements

Aspyr's comprehensive update delivers the full Civilization VI experience to mobile players. Three powerful new units are joining the roster:

• The Medieval-era Trebuchet siege weapon (upgrading from Catapult to Bombard)
• The Man-At-Arms infantry unit (evolving from Swordsman to Musketman)
• The Industrial-era Line Infantry (progressing to modern Infantry)

Players gain access to two strategic map options:

• The expansive Mediterranean Large Map
• The globe-spanning Earth Huge Map

Both feature enhanced terrain accuracy and resource distribution, plus historical starting location variants.

New gameplay modes include:

• Tech and Civic Shuffle Mode - revolutionizing research paths
• Barbarian Clans Mode - transforming nomadic tribes into evolving city-states

The update introduces customization tools:

• Natural Wonder Picker
• City-State Picker
• Leader Selection Pool (featuring Julius Caesar)

Civilization VI Android Expands With Premium Passes

On June 12th, Android players can purchase:

• The New Frontier Pass ($29.99) - featuring 8 civilizations, 9 leaders, and 6 game modes
• The Leader Pass ($19.99) - adding 12 new leaders and 6 legacy leader variants
