Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to launch in October 2025, following the latest announcement from the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a detailed video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights into the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Over the past few months, Paradox has been keeping the community engaged through Dev Diaries, which cover characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to prioritize the game's quality, all Dev Diaries will be paused, allowing the development team to focus on enhancing the game's overall performance and stability.

First Revealed in 2019

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was first unveiled in March 2019, initially planned for a March 2020 release. The game was originally being developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, delays began to mount, with the first pushback announced in October 2019, moving the release to a later, unspecified date in 2020, and then to 2021.

During this time, several key team members departed from the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive made a significant change by removing Hardsuit Labs from the project and bringing in The Chinese Room as the new developer. This transition led to further shifts in the release schedule, from late 2024 to the first half of 2025, and now to the end of 2025.
