World of Warships Legends celebrates the Lunar New Year with new Legend of Wukong event

World of Warships Legends is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a thrilling new event centered around the legendary Sun Wukong! Wargaming's popular naval battle simulator brings the mythical Monkey King and his world to the high seas, offering exclusive rewards available now on iOS and Android.

Following the recent Sky: Children of the Light Lunar New Year event, January’s chill is being thawed by the warmth of this popular seasonal celebration. Even the intense world of naval combat in World of Warships Legends is joining the festivities with its Sun Wukong-themed event.

Sun Wukong, the iconic character from Journey to the West, a cornerstone of Asian literature, needs little introduction. He's the star of World of Warships Legends' Lunar New Year event.

This update includes a campaign featuring the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie, but the main attraction is Sun Wukong himself! He'll be available as a commander for all nations, alongside his Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser, the Wukong, and numerous other skins inspired by characters from Journey to the West.

But that's not all! World of Warships Legends is bringing back previous Lunar New Year content! The Celestial Guardian commander guise returns, offering daily bonuses. Several Pan-Asian and Japanese ships will sport ornate skins. Keep an eye out for Lunar Year '25 crates in the in-game store, offering rewards including the exclusive Japanese Tier VI Premium cruiser Tokachi.
