Lady Gaga Joins Wednesday Season 2 Trailer

The second half of Wednesday Season 2 arrives in less than a month, but Netflix just revealed a sneak peek with a trailer containing one shocking celebrity cameo that will leave fans stunned.

Pop icon Lady Gaga joins the cast as a guest star in the latter half of the season. The preview features Principal Weems (Gwendoline Christie) revealing to Wednesday that she survived her apparent death and will now serve as her spirit guide during a perilous new mission. Meanwhile, Tyler (Hunter Doohan) remains a threat, but Wednesday is ready to face him — until Lady Gaga ominously warns in a chilling voiceover: "Beware. There will be a price to pay."

Netflix's press release confirms Gaga's guest role, meaning fans will likely see her in action — undoubtedly styled in the show's extravagant gothic fashion. However, details about her character remain a mystery beyond this brief tease.

The streamer also unveiled new promotional images and a poster showing Wednesday reclining in a coffin with crossed arms, delivering her signature piercing glare. The tagline declares: "Season 2 will be the death of me."

"Wednesday Addams returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. While the first four episodes are already streaming, the remaining installments premiere September 3. IGN's review of Season 2's first half praised Jenna Ortega's starring performance and the show's visuals, awarding it a 6/10 score.
