KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global Officially Ends its Run

Another game bites the dust! KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global, developed by Sumzap and published initially by Nexon before transferring to Sesisoft, has officially shut down its servers on January 30th. This marks the end of a 3.5-year run for the global version, a respectable lifespan for an anime-based gacha game, especially considering declining revenue in recent times. The Japanese version enjoyed a longer run of 5 years.

The developers have transitioned their focus to the Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade gacha game. Despite the shutdown, they maintained active support until the very end, releasing voiced story updates and a final song just three weeks prior. A farewell livestream in December even featured Kazuma's voice actor.

While the Japanese version offers an archived main story on YouTube and an offline version preserving the story, voice lines, and character collection, the global version unfortunately lacks these features. However, fans can still access the Japanese YouTube archive for continued enjoyment.

This concludes our coverage of the KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global shutdown. Stay tuned for our next article covering Karrablast and Shelmet in Pokémon Go's February Community Day.
