Microsoft has just unveiled two stunning Witcher 3-themed Xbox controllers to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a game that has captured the hearts of many fans, including myself. These special edition controllers are exclusively available at the Microsoft Store, with the standard version priced at $79.99 and the Elite Series 2 at $169.99.

The designs of both controllers are remarkably similar, featuring intricate etchings inspired by Geralt of Rivia. A standout detail is the wolf medallion, synonymous with Geralt, etched into the center of each controller. Additionally, the controllers incorporate Glagolitic script, the oldest known Slavic alphabet and a nod to the game's aesthetic. The right grip sports the iconic red claw marks that represent the "III" from the game's title, enhancing the overall Witcher-themed look.

Functionally, these controllers maintain the high standards of their standard counterparts. The current Xbox controller is renowned for its ergonomic design and durability, which I can personally attest to, given how well it holds up against the enthusiastic play of my kids.

The Elite Series 2 model, priced higher, offers premium features such as adjustable-tension thumbsticks, hair trigger locks, and a wrap-around rubberized grip.
