Embark on "The Last Knight," a captivating side quest enriching the Rinascita region within Wuthering Waves. While less expansive than the main storyline, this quest offers a charming glimpse into life beyond Ragunna City, coupled with rewarding prizes. Its straightforward nature contrasts with more elaborate quests, making it a quicker, less demanding experience. This guide provides a concise walkthrough.

Starting The Last Knight Quest

To initiate this quest, complete Chapter 2, including the "What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing" quest. We highly recommend finishing the main questline before exploring Rinascita, as many side quests are locked until Chapter 2, Act 3 is completed.

Upon completion, locate Cosimo in Egla Town, Whisperwind Haven. He's near the first house adjacent to the main road exiting the town, marked by a blue quest marker on your map.

The Night Reveries

This segment involves a performance honoring a legendary knight. Defeat the Mad Knight, appearing only at night (18:00 to 06:00). Find him at the town's central pool. This foe isn't exceptionally challenging; utilize your strongest attacks.

Mimic Chest Challenge

After defeating the Mad Knight, navigate to the tallest tower, then fly to Carlow's location (indicated by a quest marker). He'll be unconscious near a large purple flower. Interact with the flower for a teleport to a challenge: identify the genuine chest among mimics.

The first three chests are genuine. In the subsequent set, only one is real (the second chest in the middle-left). Opening it yields Astrites and other rewards, but prepare for a mimic ambush afterward.

Following the Knight's Trail

Next, visit two locations associated with the legendary knight, following quest markers and interacting with NPCs.

After speaking with Mr. Millkeeper, Abby mentions a strange scent. Follow the marker uphill to encounter a unique Chop Chop with invulnerable Leftless and Rightless. The Questless Knight Echo is highly recommended for parrying attacks and stunning the enemy.

Mr. Millkeeper reveals the "legendary knight" was a fabrication, a protective measure by windmill keepers. This revelation causes Carlow to flee.

Carlow's Confrontation

Return to Egla Town (daytime) and find Carlow in a town plaza. He's confronted by ridiculing knights, but instead of retreating, he challenges one to a duel, abandoning his fantasy and embracing true protection. The quest concludes after Carlow's challenge, rewarding you with Union XP, Astrites, and resources. "The Last Knight" is then marked complete within the Tales of the Isles event.
