Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

Morph Painting restoration involves correctly placing paintings onto designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and use the Levitator utility to position the painting. The game usually automatically equips the Levitator; otherwise, access it via Tab or the D-Pad Left.

Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated within the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

This puzzle, found in the Resounding Rise tower during the "Shadows of the Past" questline, requires the following steps (using the central painting as a reference):

1. Swap the front-left and back-right paintings.
2. Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
3. Move the painting behind the right chairs to the front-right pedestal.

Upon completion, a chest appears, allowing quest progression.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

Located within the Trial of Wisdom during the "Trials of Old" quest near Porto-Veno Castle, this puzzle demands arranging paintings chronologically from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.

A simple method to verify correct placement is to observe the painting frame; it illuminates upon successful placement. This shortcut bypasses the puzzle's core mechanic.
