Carplounge Autopilot: Revolutionizing BaitBoat Control with the Raymarine Element App (RT7 & RT4 V4)

The Carplounge Autopilot utilizes an Android tablet or phone, eliminating the need for a traditional remote control. This free app, available on the Google Play Store, connects to your BaitBoat via Bluetooth using a transmitter box, offering complete touchscreen control.

In manual mode, steer your BaitBoat directly via the touchscreen, just like a standard remote. The app displays real-time boat position, route, and orientation (including a compass!), constantly updating on an integrated map. Utilize the built-in GPS to save and name promising fishing spots (e.g., "jetty left," "spot 1," "home") identified with your echo sounder.

Autopilot mode allows you to create routes by selecting and linking saved points. Each point can include actions like opening specific hatches (left/right) or releasing bait, even activating lights. For example, program your boat to: 1) travel to "Sandbank," open the right hopper; 2) proceed to "Spot 2," open the left hopper; 3) return to your fishing location and flash the lights once. The boat will then autonomously execute this route. An almost limitless number of spots and routes can be stored.

Advanced sensors (position, acceleration) combined with cutting-edge GPS and compass technology ensure pinpoint accuracy. Route guidance boasts 90% accuracy within 30cm! The system intelligently manages line tension, especially crucial when deploying two rods simultaneously to different locations. If line tension is detected, the boat automatically adjusts its course to maintain a direct path to the target, minimizing unnecessary turns and line kinks.

The Autopilot replaces the standard remote, but a remote control connection option is available, providing control flexibility. Any Android tablet with Bluetooth is compatible; however, the app is currently optimized for 10-inch tablets.

Continuous app development and expansion are guaranteed through automatic updates via the Google Play Store. New features, bug fixes, and improvements are seamlessly integrated without requiring you to send your autopilot or boat for service.
