Getting Started:

1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. Tap Accessibility > Switch Access.

Setting Up a Switch:

Switch Access highlights screen items sequentially until you select one using a switch. Choose from:

• Physical Switches: USB or Bluetooth switches (buttons, keyboards), or built-in switches like volume buttons.
• Camera Switches: Use facial gestures like smiling, opening your mouth, raising eyebrows, or looking left/right/up.

Scanning Methods:

Once a switch is set up, choose a scanning method:

• Linear Scanning: Moves through items one by one.
• Row-Column Scanning: Scans row by row, then item by item within the selected row.
• Point Scanning: Uses intersecting lines to pinpoint a location.
• Group Selection: Assigns colors to screen items; select a color group using a switch to narrow down choices.

Using the Menus:

A menu appears when an item is selected, offering actions like "select," "scroll," "copy," and more. A top-level menu provides quick access to notifications, the home screen, volume control, and other functions.

Camera Switch Navigation:

Use your device's front camera to navigate with facial gestures. Customize gesture sensitivity and duration for optimal control.

Recording Shortcuts:

Record and assign touch gestures (pinching, zooming, swiping, etc.) to switches or menus for quick access to complex actions. For instance, create a shortcut to turn two ebook pages with a single switch press.
