Damasi Rules:

• Setup: On an 8x8 board, each player starts with 16 pieces arranged in two rows, leaving the back row empty.
• Movement: Pieces move forward or sideways one square at a time. Captures are made by jumping over opponent pieces. Pieces cannot move backward. Reaching the back row promotes a piece to a king.
• King Movement: Kings can move any number of squares forward, backward, or sideways, capturing by jumping over opponent pieces.
• Captures: Captured pieces are removed immediately. If a jump is possible, it must be taken. If multiple jumps are possible, the player must choose the one that captures the most pieces. Kings and regular pieces are worth the same in captures. Multiple maximum-capture sequences are allowed.
• Game End: The game ends when a player has no legal moves. The opponent wins.
• Unique Capture Rule: Unlike other checkers variants, because pieces are removed immediately after capture, it's possible to cross the same square multiple times in a single capture sequence.
• 180-Degree Turn Restriction: During a multi-capture sequence, you cannot turn 180 degrees between captures.
