At the start of each game, Duplikat presents you with 7 randomly drawn letters from its virtual "bag." Your challenge is to craft the highest-scoring word possible and strategically place it on the game board. Once you've made your decision or the timer runs out in timed games, hit "Validate" to submit your move. The app then reveals the "max score" word, which is the highest scoring option available, and places it on the board for reference. You earn points based solely on the word you've chosen. After each move, Duplikat replenishes your letter rack, ensuring the game flows seamlessly.

To keep the gameplay balanced, Duplikat enforces specific letter distribution rules: up to the 15th move, your rack must contain at least two vowels and two consonants. From the 16th move onward, it requires at least one vowel and one consonant. If the initial draw doesn't meet these criteria, the letters are returned to the bag, and a new set is drawn. The game concludes if there are no more vowels or consonants left in the bag.
