Phase 10 Rules:

A phase is a combination of cards (sets of same value, runs of consecutive ascending cards, cards of the same color, or a mix). There are ten phases to complete, in order.

The game begins with each player receiving 10 cards.

Phase Completion:

• Phases must be completed sequentially (1 through 10).
• A complete phase must be in hand before being laid down.
• Additional cards beyond the minimum requirements can be added to a phase, but only if they directly connect to existing cards.
• Only one phase can be completed per turn.
• Failure to complete a phase means attempting the same phase again on the next turn.
• Completing a phase earns credit, regardless of winning the round. Multiple players may complete phases in the same round.
• Players are not obligated to lay down a completed phase, but must discard a card at the end of their turn.

Ending the Round and Scoring:

After completing a phase, the player must attempt to play out their remaining cards. Remember: draw one card at the start of your turn, and discard one at the end.

Once a player completes their phase and discards their final card, the round ends. Players tally their remaining cards:

• 5 points for cards 1-9
• 10 points for cards 10-12
• 15 points for a Skip card
• 25 points for a Wild card

The goal is to have the lowest score at the end of the game.

Winning the Game:

If only one player reaches Phase 10 and completes it, they win immediately. If multiple players complete phases in the same round, the player with the lowest score and completed Phase 10 wins. Ties result in a replay of Phase 10, with the first to complete and discard all cards declared the winner.
