2025 Hisense QD7 85" 4K Mini-LED Gaming TV Launched, Now on Sale

This week, Hisense unveiled its latest innovation, the 2025 Hisense QD7 4K Smart TV, and the 85" model is already available at a discounted price. Originally listed at $1,299.99, Amazon is currently offering it for just $999.99, making it an unbeatable deal for a large-screen TV equipped with a quantum dot mini-LED panel and a native 144Hz refresh rate. This setup is ideal for enhancing your gaming experience on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X console. For those on a tighter budget, the 2024 model of the 85" Hisense QD7, which does not feature the Mini-LED panel but maintains the same 144Hz refresh rate, is now available for $799.99—a price that matches the lowest seen during Black Friday.

The Hisense QD7 is positioned as a mid-tier gaming-focused TV, perfect for those looking to maximize their gaming experience on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. This is thanks to its native 144Hz panel, which supports 4K gaming at up to 144fps via HDMI 2.1. Additional gaming-centric features include variable refresh rates ranging from 48Hz to 144Hz, auto low latency mode with MEMC, and AMD FreeSync Premium support. Beyond gaming, the QD7 excels in delivering stunning 4K HDR content, supporting Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG formats. Both the 2024 and 2025 models leverage quantum dot technology for more vibrant and punchy colors.

What are the differences between the 2025 and 2024 models?

The 2025 model of the Hisense QD7 enhances the previous year's model by incorporating Mini-LED technology. This technology uses smaller and more numerous LEDs, allowing for more precise control over brightness and improving black levels and contrast ratios. Additionally, the 2025 model has transitioned from the Google TV to the Fire TV interface, offering users a choice between two user-friendly smart TV platforms.

Currently, you won't find another 85" TV at this price point with such an impressive array of features, particularly the Mini-LED technology and the 144Hz refresh rate. If budget constraints are a concern and you're willing to compromise on some premium features, consider exploring the best budget TVs of 2025. Conversely, if top-tier picture quality is your priority over value, look into the best TVs for PlayStation 5.
