Applin Debuts in Pokémon GO: Sweet Discoveries Await!

Pokémon GO enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting new event called Sweet Discoveries, where you'll have the chance to encounter the adorable Applin for the first time. This event is a must-attend if you're into collecting new Pokémon or hunting for shiny versions. Let's dive into all the details you need to know.

When Is Applin Debuting in Pokémon GO?

Mark your calendars! The Sweet Discoveries event kicks off on April 24th at 10:00 a.m. and lasts until April 29th at 8:00 p.m. local time. This is when Applin, a Grass and Dragon-type Pokémon hailing from the Galar region, will make its much-anticipated debut in Pokémon GO.

Evolving Applin into its various forms is an exciting part of the event. To evolve Applin into Flapple, you'll need 200 Applin Candies and 20 Tart Apples. For Appletun, you'll require the same number of candies but with 20 Sweet Apples. And if you're aiming for Dipplin, its final evolution into Hydrapple is the ultimate goal.

The Apples, crucial for Applin's evolution, can be found in the wild. When you tap on them, you might discover a Tart Apple, a Sweet Apple, or even Applin itself. To increase your chances of encountering these Apples, consider using Mossy Lure Modules in your gameplay.

Did You Know?

Applin is a unique Pokémon that spends its entire life inside an apple, cleverly hiding from its natural enemies, bird Pokémon, by blending in as just another piece of fruit. It's undoubtedly one of the cutest Pokémon in the entire Pokémon GO lineup.

During the Sweet Discoveries event, you can enhance your avatar with new items available in the shop, including the charming Applin Headband and Applin Apron. Additionally, you'll benefit from event bonuses such as 2× Candy for catching Pokémon, making your gameplay even more rewarding.

Keep an eye out for Shiny Delibird and Shiny Skwovet, as there's a higher chance of encountering them in the wild. You'll also have an increased chance of hatching Shiny Delibird, Shiny Cherubi, and Shiny Skwovet from 7 km Eggs.

A delightful feature of this event is that catching Delibird or Skwovet will result in them dropping berries, adding a fun twist to your gameplay. If you haven't already, make sure to download Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store to join in on the fun.
