Applin and Dynamax Entei debut in Pokémon Go this month

Two exciting Pokémon from the Galar region are making their debut in Pokémon Go this month, offering players a mix of adorable and powerful encounters. During the Sweet Discoveries event, running from April 24th to 29th, you'll have the chance to encounter the charming Dragon/Grass-type Applin for the first time. Evolving Applin into either Flapple or Appletun requires 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples. Use Tart Apples to evolve into Flapple and Sweet Apples for Appletun. These apples can be found in the wild, particularly around Mossy Lures, and may also trigger Applin encounters.

The Sweet Discoveries event will feature wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. You can also snag themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi through Field Research and Eggs. Timed Research offers both free and paid options, with the latter providing extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional Applin encounters, along with Sweet and Tart Apples.

Don’t miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and be sure to participate in PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon. For those seeking more intensity, mark your calendar for the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th–27th, where the powerful Dynamax Entei makes its debut.
