Baldur's Gate 3 mod has been updated. It added a “superboss” of level 27 and a sheep-killer

Trials of Tav - Reloaded, a substantial overhaul by modder Celerev, injects roguelike elements into the original Trials of Tav mod. This update significantly ramps up the challenge.

Key features include a roster of new enemies, refined game balance, and a formidable level 27 superboss designed to challenge even veteran players. Conquering this ultimate foe signifies a true completion of the mod.

The expansion goes beyond a single boss encounter; over 60 enemies from the base game, including rare adversaries such as Nine-Fingers Keene and Killer Sheep, have been integrated. Gameplay mechanics have also been tweaked: trading has been rebalanced, and the difficulty scaling adjusted to prevent new enemy abilities from creating insurmountable roadblocks.

Celerev extends their appreciation to the original mod's creator, Hippo0o, acknowledging their foundational work in building an adaptable game mode. Importantly, the original Trials of Tav remains accessible for players who prefer the classic experience.

For players seeking a rigorous test of their skills, or those anticipating Patch 8 with its promised crossplay and enhancements, Trials of Tav - Reloaded offers a compelling alternative.
