The Baseus Bowie MC1 features a unique hook-ear design that ensures the earbuds stay firmly in place during vigorous movements. Positioned above rather than inside the ear canal, this open-ear design lets you stay aware of your surroundings—perfect for running, biking, or engaging in conversations during workouts. With an IP57 rating for water and dust resistance, these earbuds are built to withstand the elements. They come with on-button controls, but for added convenience, you can manage settings via a mobile app without adjusting the earbuds once they're on.

While my top pick for sports earbuds is the Shokz OpenRuns, they come with a hefty $120 price tag, which is 300% more than the Bowie MC1. Another popular choice, the AirPods 4, while budget-friendly, aren't specifically designed for active workouts, are best suited for iPhone users, and cost three times as much as the Bowies. At their current price, the Bowies are unmatched in value.
