Get ready, Zombies fans! Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to introduce an exciting new map for its round-based survival mode. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Mansion map and what it means for your gameplay experience.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expanding its Zombies mode with a brand new map, marking the fifth addition to the game. A sneak peek was shared via the official Call of Duty and Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studio's X (formerly Twitter) accounts. The post, dated March 12, 2025, features an image of a grand mansion showing signs of battle, with visible damage, flaming army car wreckage, dark smoke, and internal fires.
The caption reads, "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" accompanied by the "#Zombies" hashtag. Edward "Eddie" Richtoften, a familiar face from the series, notably featured in Call of Duty: Cold War, is set to return in this Black Ops 6 remake. Fans have quickly identified the map as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, set in February 1991, aligning with the timeline from the previous map, The Tomb.
One of the most significant changes to this map is the absence of Amalgam enemies. Treyarch confirmed this on their Instagram account in response to a fan's comment about expecting to face 20 amalgams. The developers simply stated, "Nope." Amalgams, known for their high health and powerful attacks, will not be part of this map, potentially offering players a smoother and less challenging experience.
