Mastering Marvel Snap's Bullseye: Deck Strategies and Value Assessment

Bullseye, a recent addition to Marvel Snap's Dark Avengers season, has undergone several iterations before reaching its current form. This guide explores optimal Bullseye deck builds and assesses his value within the game's meta.

Bullseye's Mechanics

Bullseye is a 3-cost, 3-power card with the ability: "Activate: Discard all 1-cost or less cards from your hand. Afflict that many different enemy cards with -2 Power."

Crucially, Bullseye's effect targets different enemy cards. This limits his impact; he won't repeatedly debuff the same card. His effectiveness hinges on playing him before turn 6 and having low-cost cards to discard. Cards like Swarm (reduced to 0 cost after discard) synergize exceptionally well. Other strong pairings include X-23 and Hawkeye (Kate Bishop).

Top Bullseye Decks

Bullseye's optimal placement is within discard-focused decks. Two prominent examples are detailed below:

Deck 1: Classic Discard with Bullseye

  • Scorn
  • X-23
  • Blade
  • Morbius
  • Hawkeye (Kate Bishop)
  • Swarm
  • Colleen Wing
  • Bullseye
  • Dracula
  • Proxima Midnight
  • MODOK
  • Apocalypse

This deck utilizes standard discard mechanics, enhanced by Bullseye's board-wide debuff potential. The synergy between MODOK, Bullseye, and discarded cards is key. Hawkeye (Kate Bishop) is arguably replaceable with Gambit. Scorn and Proxima Midnight are essential components.

Deck 2: Hazmat Ajax Variant

  • Silver Sable
  • Nebula
  • Hydra Bob
  • Hazmat
  • Hawkeye (Kate Bishop)
  • U.S. Agent
  • Luke Cage
  • Bullseye
  • Rocket Raccoon & Groot
  • Anti-Venom
  • Man-Thing
  • Ajax

This high-cost deck integrates Bullseye into the Hazmat Ajax archetype. Bullseye acts as a secondary Hazmat, debuffing opponents alongside cards like Silver Sable, Nebula, and Anti-Venom. This amplifies Ajax's power, potentially securing lane victory. Note that Hydra Bob could be swapped for another 1-cost card.

Is Bullseye Worth the Investment?

Bullseye's utility is limited to discard and affliction strategies. If you're not a fan of these deck types, or if you prioritize cards like Moonstone and Aries, Bullseye might not be a worthwhile investment of Spotlight Cache Keys or Collector's Tokens. His niche application might not justify the resource expenditure for players who prefer other playstyles.
