In celebration of 115 Day, a nod to the dedicated Zombies fanbase, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is launching a Quad Feed Double XP event to help players level up across various aspects of the game. The live-service franchise is known for its constant evolution, with Black Ops 6 already seeing numerous updates and limited-time events.
The Zombies Mode, a beloved feature in Treyarch-led Call of Duty games, continues to be a highlight in Black Ops 6. Earlier this week, Treyarch teased a significant announcement for 115 Day, capturing the attention of longtime Zombies enthusiasts. The number "115" is iconic within the Zombies franchise, referencing Element-115, which is central to the Zombies storyline and various Easter eggs. In honor of this, Treyarch had plenty to share with the community.
Before delving into Zombies-specific news, Treyarch's blog post announced a special Quad Feed Double XP event for all Black Ops 6 players, running from January 15 to January 21 at 10am PT. This event doubles the experience earned for player account progression, all weapons, the Battle Pass, and the GobbleGum earn rate. This XP boost is perfect for players looking to advance before the launch of Season 2 later this month.
What is Quad Feed Double XP in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
In addition to the XP boost, Treyarch celebrated the Zombies community through art, cosplay, and more. The blog also teased upcoming Quality of Life changes for Season 2, stats for Zombies Directed Mode, and introduced fans to a new Zombies map, The Tomb.
Despite these positive developments, Black Ops 6 has faced its share of challenges. Issues like hacking, cheating, bugs, and controversial limited-time events have frustrated fans, leading to a significant decline in the player base. Some platforms, such as Steam, have seen a near 50% drop in players since the game's launch in October 2024. As Season 2 approaches, there's hope that these issues can be addressed and the game can regain its momentum.
