Your target is Lake Biwa, a prominent body of water central to the region. To cross it, it's advisable to secure a boat from nearby settlements like Azuchi or Omizo. Alternatively, you can swim to the island, though using a boat is more efficient.
Aim for the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, located northwest of Azuchi. Upon arrival, you'll discover Okishima, home to a Kakurega where you can rest. The presence of fish drying near the docks suggests a haven for a particular type of animal.
