Marvel's animated Spider-Man series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, has received early renewals for both Seasons 2 and 3. This exciting news comes from Marvel Studios' Brad Winderbaum, who revealed in an interview with The Movie Podcast that Season 2 scripts are complete, and half the animatics are finished, even before Season 1 premieres on January 29th.
Winderbaum expressed his enthusiasm for the show, stating, "I've fallen so head over heels in love with these characters...What Jeff Trammell is building brick by brick starts to pay off." He further hinted at the increasing depth and emotional connection in subsequent seasons.

While Winderbaum is meeting with lead writer Jeff Trammell to discuss Season 3, release dates for both Season 2 and 3 remain undisclosed. The series chronicles Peter Parker's freshman year, but whether future seasons will follow a chronological school year progression or explore other aspects of his early Spider-Man career is yet to be seen.
